2025 Mini Kickers Program

Wisconsin Rapids Kickers Soccer Club is excited to offer a youth developmental soccer academy for our community's youngest players. The Wisconsin Rapids Kickers Mini Kickers Midway District Mites is open to all area youth ages 5 to 8 at the time of the academy regardless of school, soccer club, or recreational program affiliation. The skills focus on soccer fundamentals and proper techniques while creating a fun environment that allows athletes to learn the game of soccer.

Fall 2025 Season Information

Who?

• Any child ages 5 to 8 (birth year 2017 to 2021, if you are currently 5)

Cost: $50 which includes practices, certified coaches, tournaments, T-shirt, and a Ball.  Financial assistance is available. 

When and where will the Mini Kickers run?

• The Mini Kickers is a 6-week program that provides training for our youngest players.

• Training will occur on Mondays and every other Wednesday starting with the first session on Wednesday September 3rd.

  • Mondays: September 8, 15, 22, 29, October 6
  • Wednesdays: September 3, 17, October 1

• Ages 5/6 will train from 5:00 to 5:45p and ages 7/8 will train from 6:00 to 6:45p. 

• All sessions will be held at Washington Elementary Soccer Complex Field 1.

Each session players should bring/wear the following:

• Soccer cleats (recommended, not required)
• Shin guards (required; for safety reasons, players without shin guards will not be allowed to play)
• Clothes suitable for the weather
• Water bottle
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and have fun

If a make-up session is needed due to weather cancellation,  a make up date will be determined and parents will be notified via the Kickers communication channels.  

Tournament Play Dates: 

•  September 20 - Stevents Point, WI - Time TBD
• October 5 - Wisconsin Rapids, WI - Time TBD
